I will be taking a “Starting School, Many Things on my Plate” break for the next while.
Thank you very much for reading and supporting this blog. You may be quiet but I know you are out there. 🙂
I hope that some of these posts have inspired you as much as they have me…….
Prayers for all of you, please keep me in yours.
Keeping you in prayer.
Peace to you and yours. Enjoy your break. Yes, your posts have been a blessing.
Oh Leane. …thanks so much for your time and effort you put into this blog. I too am guilty of being a reader and not a replier. Your blog is my morning read with my tea before the chaos begins, for that I will miss it dearly. Thanks for all your inspiration and enjoy your deserved break. You have touched my life in ways you’ll never know, for that I am truly grateful. You and your family have blessed me tremendously. May God continue to bless the Vdp, s.
You’re a dear, Linda…and no worries about just reading and not commenting, I am not much of a small-talker anyway….. 🙂 (I’m always willing to learn, though.)
Thank you so much and I and my family will miss it so much! Thank you thank you!
If you happen to see this ;)……what grades are you teaching this year? And is your youngest boy the same age as Virginia’s oldest? I get those two mixed in pics sometimes. 🙂 What curriculum do you like….or a combo of things? What age do you start school? Do you have planners?
Have a very blessed day!
HI Mary!! The ages of the kids in school are 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16. My youngest is 8, Virginia’s oldest is 7. I start school as late as I can get away with….not quite so ambitious as I used to be…..hehe. No I haven’t got planners, The only plan I have is to get up each morning and hit the floor running! Thanks to you, Mary, for all your comments and input, etc. 🙂
Your blog is a blessing to me and I will really miss it. Of course your family comes first. I’ll be looking forward to your return when you have time someday. Have a happy school year!
Your blog is a must-read for me every day and I hope that you will be back soon! In the meantime, I will read through the archives.
If any readers are looking for another great website to visit, you should tune into the Catholic sermon series on audiosancto.org.
Wishing you a holy and blessed school year.
Have a wonderful break! Your blog is one of my favorites. Thank you so much for all the effort you put into it! (I would also love to know what homeschooling materials you use. I’ve gotten so many good ideas from other like-minded women!)
Thank you all very kindly. You brighten my day! 🙂 As far as homeschooling, here is my simple list: CLAA Classical Catechism for Religion, Easy Grammar, MathUSee, SWR for Phonics and Spelling, CLAA Chronology for History and CLAA Geography. Lots of “Life-Schooling” in between….. I don’t know how long I will take a break, I enjoy this blog very much. It may be a short break, it may be long…..
Thank you for your blog Leanne, I enjoy it so much and have learned a lot.
Well,it’s about time! You always made me feel a little guilty! My thought was a bit like;if I could do half of what she does…why…well..the possibilities would be endless!!In Jesus’Love

Thank you for all your posts. They have probably saved my marriage. I hope you are able to have a blessed school year. Please come back if you can. I will be looking for you and keeping your beautiful family in our prayers.
Hope you aren’t long away. Homeschooling my children has made me more busy than I ever imagined I could be, but your blog is such a comfort and source of inspiration, I selfishly want you to continue! Thank you for your posts thus far. And I will insist we begin praying the nightly Rosary again, after falling away from it this summer with feeble excuses.
Wendy and Nadine, Thank you…that is very inspiring to hear! Keep up the good work! 🙂
