Beautiful flowers for Valentine’s Day!
One of the nicer days this winter with Margy. This is Grandma’s apartment and the hay bales keep the pipes from freezing.
Baby Isaac with good friend and son’s mother-in-law, Mary Ann.

Baby Isaac and Grandma Mary Ann
Margy and Baby Nathaniel.
Theresa and her two darlings, Brendan and Sienna.

Devin and Theresa are expecting #3!
Sunday brunch around here has the guys really pitching in…..
From making breakfast…..

…to sweeping….
….to doing dishes…

and proud of it!!!
Winter fun in Kansas City! This was a first for most of the kids here. Man-made snow covered the slopes. The kids had a blast, in spite of wipe-outs, bruises, etc.!
Skiiers!!

Heading on up Black Diamond Hill…..the scary hill. The bunny hills were more beginner-friendly.
Ski troops!
Mike and Jeanette went for a visit in Maine and went ice fishing!

Got one!!
Woo-hoo!!
Our chapel at St. John Vianney’s in Maple Hill, KS

Lots of cute grandchildren! These are all Vin and Gin’s children!
Brendan and Sienna playing Mass.
Ever feel like this?

When the kids have too much books they like a little reality. 😛
Dominic after Sunday Mass. I can’t seem to get a picture of him where he doesn’t look tired.
Hats, hats, hats!!! Go Virginia!

Rosie wearing the wire-rimmed “sun hat” style!
Virginia wearing the hat she made me.
Virginia modeling the flower she made for Jeanette.

Gemma’s hat.
Margy’s hat.
Interesting hats!

Good, good friends Theresa and Hillarie George from Wyoming.
So sweet!! Uncle Dominic chillin’ with Agnes!
Puzzles are so much fun with good friends!

How do you like that for a laundry pile!
I got Gemma these books. Each book has a fairy tale play and all the masks to wear when putting the plays on.
Lots of fun!

This play was Cinderella.
Silence has to be aggressively sought out around here. Lent provides more opportunity.
Practising the lines for the play that the parish will be putting on in the spring….Pride and Prejudice. Rosie is Jane, Margy is Lydia.

First birthday for Agnes!
I always like to take pictures of our hard-working guys enjoying their games.

So, this is why our guys are strong!
Tea party time before Lent!
Angelo is the butler.

Princesses….
Beloved pets…..or should I say victim souls! 😛
Angelo’s new bunny.

Now that is one cute kid!!!!
Grandchildren galore!
Jeanette and Agnes! Jeanette is expecting her second.

Air soft guns were given to the kids from their “Uncle David”.

Sharing the saliva…. 😛
Sometimes it gets overwhelming!
Love this!

Our crown of thorns made out of flour, water and salt. Each time the kids do 2 sacrifices or good works, they get to put a flower on the toothpick.
….Getting there!
Don’t forget that rosary!

When you don’t get much snow, your snowmen become dwarves!
Virginia has been busy making these stunning ribbon and fabric flowers!

Aren’t they sweet!
And these Little Lady Summer Garden Party hats were made by her and put on my Etsy shop! http://www.meadowsofgrace.com
I tried to pick and choose which ones to show you but couldn’t decide….

….so you get to peek at them all!
The sizes are for one to four year olds.
She is working on making bigger ones!

Aren’t they beautiful! 🙂
Her little lady, Emma is modeling them.

Our last Finer Femininity meeting….
All the ladies….

My birthday in Lent. Margy presents me with this conglomeration of parsley as my penitential cake. Yuck.
May this Lent be a witness of our love for You!

I hope you enjoyed your “parsley cake” !! Ian’s aunt recently gave me a recipe for Parsley Soup, which is very good, if you are interested. It’s nice and green – perfect for St. Patrick’s Day!

Haha Paula! I’ll pass on the parsley soup! Hopefully St. Patrick’s day will bring something more palatable on my plate! 😛
