This post isn’t all about Autumn as the title suggests but “Auspicious Autumn” posed such a delicious alliteration I couldn’t help myself…..besides it IS Autumn, right?
So this is a post of some of the happenings in this pocket of the world. It has been a lovely summer…..

- I would like to introduce you to some of our grandchildren. Adrian is trying to hide his mischief behind these glasses but we know better!
- Here he is defying gravity.
- Here he is defying the rules of cleanliness! He keeps his mom and dad hopping and his Grandma’s eyes closed!
- This is Nini, otherwise, but not as commonly, known as Sienna. She enjoys helping do the dishes!
- Nini considers herself quite a classy little lady. This is a lovely knitted cap from Europe that Nini’s (adopted) aunts brought back for her.
- She is particular about her manner of dress and loves to do it up!
- She will still help in the kitchen, even if she’s dressed for town….
- She is positively elegant!
- Not willing to be outdone, Agnes also poses with her hat and poncho from her aunts!
- Oh, and wait! She must show you this one, too! Now Agnes is happy! She has one up on Nini!
- Well and then Mike has to show off Magdalen! Cute, Mike! 😛
- Much better, what a doll!
- And then there is Juliette in her pink and black….
- There are times when ladies must succumb to the lures of…..Dog Pile!!
- Quick! Rescue Nini who didn’t foresee that she might end up on the bottom!
- On another note and moving on from grandchildren….This grass and sweet potato plant was just a little part of our planters. They shoved everything else out and have made quite a display!
- Rosie is the caretaker….
- Rosie and grandbaby, Magdalena.
- Rosie is busy making a Christmas gift….
- This is what it will look like. She is using a bigger thread so it will be a lot bigger than a normal doily! She was a little offended when one of our guy friends thought it looked like a very pretty “rug”! Sheesh!
