I have this podcast on Youtube here (if you like photos 🙂 ) and now it is on Itunes as an audio podcast.
A mother of eleven, grandmother of twenty-five discusses the dynamics of Catholic family life that helped them to form their children into God-fearing, joyful Catholics…
“God has thus put into the hand of the parents at their own hearthstone, a power greater than that which kings and queens wield, and which must issue in either the weal or the woe of their children. It would surely seem to be worth while to make any sacrifice of personal comfort or pleasure—to transmit a legacy of holy memories which shall be through all the years, like a host of pure angels hovering over those we love, to guard and guide them.” J.R. Miller
If only I’d had a mentor such as you while raising my 4 children in my first marriage. All I can do at this point is to be the best wife to my current husband and best grandmother to the 9 grandchildren. I will face the regret the rest of my life. I will spend the rest of my days in reparation. My love for God keeps me in daily mass and a very routine prayer life that of course includes a daily rosary.
Thank you for taking some of your precious time to share your wisdom. I just recently found your site and will remain grateful in sharing it with others. Hoping that it will plant a seed here and there.
God bless you Kathy and thank you for sharing. đź’•
