Today we are taking our daughter, Rosie, to the convent. It is bittersweet. It will be one of the hardest things I have done and the goodbyes will be tough for Rosie….
I also go in for tests tomorrow as I have been having some health issues. Hopefully all is well.
So, I am going to take a little time…it may only be a couple days, I am not sure. I wanted to give you a heads-up as my posts usually are quite regular.
In your charity, please keep us in your prayers…. It is much appreciated.
my prayers are with you….it was hard yet I promise there is also joy…,it was better-sweet when we had to say goodbye to our daughter who also entered a convent in the US, and we are in Australia…..
Bitter-sweet yes, but you will reap blessings galore! I will pray for your health too….may your results be free of harm.
God bless you all as you farewell your precious child, and may your heart rejoice that your son-in-law to be will The Perfect One !!!! 🙂
Thank you so much, Annamaria. Your words are like a balm… 😊💕
What joy to know your daughter’s body, mind, and soul are in the King’s custody, to be cherished forever!
Thank you, Alexandra.
Prayers for you, Leane, for Rosie, and for your whole family.
God’s guiding hand be with you today,
As you go to give your daughter away
To He Who made the whole world, yes,
Will He not return to you His best?
And when today is done and tomorrow is come,
Remember the words of Our Lady and Lord:
“Am I not here, I who am your Mother?”, and,
“Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
Precious. Thank you Laura! 💕😊
How beautiful! I will keep you all in my prayers at my Holy Hour this week.
I remember the day we dropped my sister off at a cloistered convent. It was so beautiful to see her great joy at finding the place where God wanted her to be. It is such a wonderful calling!
Yes it is. Thank you Samantha! 🧡
I can only imagine the bittersweet struggle, as her momma, you are having. I will lift you both up to our Lord and His Momma Mary. Bless you both.
Thank you Kathy! 💕
I wish you both peace, and joy for doing what Our Lord desires. His Will is not always easy, but it is perfect. Thank you for showing such confidence and williness to do what He desires. We will keep you in our prayers and hope you feel better too! May Our Lady keep you close to her heart during this time!
Thank you so much Mary! 💕

It has been sweet watching your family grow and sharing in its joys and sufferings via the internet. Our desire is for God’s will, which sometimes is bitter but oh so sweet. May Our Lady continue to watch over and guide you all.
