Thank you all for your lovely and encouraging words on the Giveaway post. May the rest of your Advent be filled with preparation, trust and hope!!
The Winner of the Finer Femininity Christmas Giveaway is…
Congratulations Josephine! I have been having some issues with my email program which means I can’t find your email. Could you please send me your address? Thank you!

Would you be so kind as to say a prayer? It is for my husband, Vincent, who is suffering from spinal stenosis (as I have mentioned in previous posts), which in turn is pressing on his sciatic nerve. He is in pain each day and for one who detests taking any kind of drug…well, he is on a steady diet and has been for weeks!
We are going in for a consultation on plans for a MISS (Minimally Invasive Spinal Surgery) but you have to be a candidate for this type of surgery…in other words the damage has to be where this type of surgery will work.
He has not been able to work for weeks…(though he does plenty around here)! But there are many things he cannot do so going out to work is not possible. He definitely can’t drive! He is young, 58, so we are hoping that something will work for him.
Anyway, prayers are much appreciated!
As an aside, I pray for all of you. If you have any particular prayer request that you would like to share here as a comment, it will be taken with me as an intention to each daily Mass this coming 4th Week of Advent!
“It is difficult for a child to be better than his home environment or for a nation to be superior to the level of its home life. In fulfilling its double purpose – the generation and formation of children – the home becomes a little world in itself, self-sufficient even in its youngest years. It is vital that you, as a mother or father, make of your home a training ground in character-building for your children, who will inherit the world’s problems. Home is a place in which the young grow in harmony with all that is good and noble, where hardship, happiness, and work are shared.” – Father Lawrence G. Please, pray for my husband and I, that we may conceive a child, for we have been trying for over a year and unfortunately, have not been fortunate. We have five children already, and had a very difficult miscarriage last year. There is nothing more I desire than to be a mother and wife. Please and thank you.
I am happy to pray for you and your yearning for another child, Natalie. 🙏🏻
Dear Leanne,
Keeping Vincent in all our prayers, and Mass offerings,
Blessings to you all
Thank you so much, Annamaria! 💞
Leanne please pray from 2 month old grandson who is being rushed to the emergency room with breathing issues, fever and coughing.
Vincent will be in my daily prayers for healing and return to work.
God bless
I certainly will Cindy! 🙏🏻
I will keep your husband in my prayers.
Please say a prayer that my disability application may get approved. I got the news that I will remain permanently visually disabled and cannot work again. I’m only 36. My mother is retired (and my father passed away 12 years ago so it’s just the two of us) so we have a very limited income coming in. A little help from disability would help us greatly. The Social Security Administration is notorious for denying applications so any prayers would be greatly appreciated. God reward you.
Definitely, Melissa, your intention is in my prayers! 🙏🏻
We will remember Vincent in our prayers! I pray he gets well very soon, yes he is young for a hardworking father.
My small prayer is for a peaceful family decision that we shall know what to do in the new year. God bless!
Prayers for your intentions, Mary Anne!
We will remember Vincent in our daily rosary.
May the Infant Jesus bless you all!
Thank you, Lynn, that is much appreciated! 💞
2 wayward children, 1 who has kept us at a distance for over 2 years and the other for almost a year. They were raised in a fully Catholic home. Thank you in advance
May our Lord lead them back to His Church. Prayers! 🙏🏻
I will pray for sure! Have you looked into physical therapy? It’s hard to find a good physical therapist (younger is better as they have the most up-to-date training) but they can be so helpful with these issues. Also we are big fans of Original Strength & their daily resets. They have individual online sessions as well. All the best!
Please Fr remember me in your prayers
I need Marital and Financial breakthroughs in my life
You have my prayers for your husband and his swift healing and also, for your whole, beautiful family at Christmastime and always. Also there will be prayers for all who posted here with their requests. A LOT of praying to be done.
I would surely appreciate your prayers for my 51 year old son, Jim and his family. He and his wife, Renee, have two children who are teenagers now but were diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome when they were very young. Jim has just been diagnosed with bile duct cancer which is an extremely rare cancer. He is not doing well and his prognosis is not good. We could use all the prayers we can get for him, knowing that it is God’s will that is our ultimate desire in all things. God bless us, everyone.
Good bless you Heidi, Jim and his family will be in my prayers. And thank you, also, for the prayers! 💞
