Hello, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and Blessed Epiphany to you all!
I hope you all had a lovely season and are ready to dig into the New Year!
It has been a whirlwind here with Advent, Christmas, sicknesses, new babies, a blizzard and now a wedding less than 2 weeks away!
I thought I would share some of our Christmas photos. Not all the couples are included. We have our years where we don’t do a photo. But here is what I have….
I have no news to share with you as far as my health goes. I am feeling somewhat better! We (the doctor and I) are trying some different things. Thank you very, very much for the prayers. Continued prayers are very much appreciated!
I don’t know how consistent I will be at this point. I must say, after taking the break, I wonder how I had the time to be as consistent as I have been in the past! I am always excited about sharing information with you, though, so we will see….
We have had three new babies born since I was last on the blog! So many exciting things going on. If I am correct, I believe that makes 48 grandchildren…so you can see why life is busy!
Here are the photos….
These are the kids still at home with us. Hannah (to my right) will be leaving us soon and starting her own life with her husband.
Vin and Gin’s Family….
Devin and Theresa’s Family….
Sep and Molly’s Family….
Dominic and Sarah’s Family….
Mike and Jeanette’s Family….
David and Margy’s Family….
Benedict and Hannah….
Colin and Z didn’t have a picture this year. I put all the kids in order from age and they would have come after Sep and Molly.

Dominic and Sarah with the Godparents and little Veronica…
Mike and Jeanette welcomed little Matthias….
Devin and Theresa had their little Fiona Therese yesterday afternoon!

Vin and Gin moved into their new home 2 weeks before Christmas! Maybe some of you hadn’t heard but their house completely burned to the ground last December 12th. The guys worked very hard and had many kind people who helped and in one year they were able to move into their new home…
New home…
“These diapers that are changed daily, these meals that are cooked again and again, these floors that are scrubbed today only to get dirty tomorrow — these are as truly prayer in a mother’s vocation as the watches and prayers of the religious are in theirs.” -Mary Reed Newland, How to Raise Good Catholic Children
Mrs. V talks to your children about obedience and how important it is! ….”Children, do you want to have a happy life? Do you want to go to heaven to see Jesus and Mary after your life here on earth? Then practice the virtue of obedience!”

Dear Leane, I was so happy to see an email in my inbox. I feel like you are an old friend even though we have never met since I have been reading your blog for years. So glad you are feeling a little better and have some new things to try. You are in my prayers. Congratulations on your new grandbabies! We have 23 so far with several unmarried. Every Sunday our adult children come over with their families after Mass. Maybe you can share some of your recipes for cooking for 40 plus. God bless and keep you and your beautiful family.
Thank you dear Mary! 23 grandchildren! How wonderful! ❤️
Prayers for continued health ❤️
Thank you! ❤️

You are all truly a beacon of light in this current world.
My prayers for healing and strength.

What a surprise! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Glad you are feeling better!
I hope you had gotten my emails, but I can see you were swamped. 😅
Have a blest day!
God bless you Mary Ann! 💝
Dear Leane, like the other ladies here, I’m so very happy to find your email this morning! I’ve been thinking about you, wondering how you are, & praying for you. Your impact on Catholic women is more than you can imagine-you’ve made a difference in our lives! Congratulations on the 3 precious new babies, & blessings on all of your beautiful family! We were ‘raining babies’ in my family at one time too…I have 20 grandchildren, 2 greats & another on the way:) May God bless & heal you Leane, through the intercession of Our Lady & all the saints. Love & prayers, Betsy
Dear Betsy, thank you so kindly! And congratulations on your own growing family! 💝
I was so glad to get this update and I will continue to pray for you. Your content has been so edifying over the years. I visit your website often as the references are invaluable. You’ve been blessed to have such a large family and so many souls for heaven. I had fertility issues and was blessed with just one son who has special needs. I can’t tell you what a joy he has been to me. But I do worry about who will look after him and love him when I’m gone. I dream of a Catholic home or village where he could live and be safe. If you could find it in your heart to say a prayer for him I would be eternally grateful. His name is Jeff. He is 34 and a truly innocent soul.
Thank you and may God bless you and yours.
Tracy, Delaware
Dear Tracy, prayers for Jeff! My mom also worried about my sister who is handicapped. Mom died in 2020 and my sister has had good care and actually thriving quite well. I know it is because of the prayers of my mom. And your prayers will carry your son through, too! ❤️
Dear Leane It is so nice seeing your newsletter in the mail box once again. I have been thinking of you and wondering how you are doing. Congratulations on the three beautiful additions to your lovely family.
Wishing you and your family a year full of love, health , happiness and blessings
Continued in my prayers.
Marion

Happiness, Health and Blessings in 2025
Thank you Joan! 💝
So happy to hear from you Leane. There have been so many blessings in your family this season! Congratulations on your three beautiful grandchildren and the upcoming weddings. I was so happy to read that Vin and Gin are settled into their new home after a year rebuilding. Many prayers for your healing and for your family. Seeing the email today was like a call from a close friend. May God bless you and the work you do.
God bless you Eydie! I know you know the pain of a lost home. I hope you are doing well also! ❤️
So grateful to receive this update of how you and your family are doing, Leane! I have been praying novenas for those 3 little babies, and their mothers for several months now, so I need to start on my thanksgivings to Our Blessed Mother and St. Jude for them! Wonderful. My novenas will be continuing for you Leane, absolutely! All in God’s perfect time and way will He answer this petition as well. What a great and wonderful grace to be blessed with more grandbabies! St. Teresa of Calcutta use to describe babies as new little flowers in God’s garden.👶👶👶 🌹🌹🌹
My health struggles continue, too. I ordered Essiac tea and will be trying it when it arrives. I’ll let you know if it helps. Can’t hurt, and who doesn’t appreciate a nice herbal tea?🌱🌱☕
I’ll be watching for more updates, and continuing in prayers in your behalf with love and hope!
Keep on keepin’ on, one day at a time as Our Dear Lord gives it. 💟🙏Take care of yourself😌
Thank you for all your kind words, Doris! I’m sorry you have been struggling also. Essiac tea is wonderful, I have used it in the past. That’s a great idea! Thank you for all the prayers! Prayers for you also! ❤️
