So many mothers struggle with their weight. Wouldn’t it be great to find something doable for busy mothers?
I heard about T-Tapp and how great it was some time ago. I didn’t pay too much attention but then my mom handed me the book Fit and Fabulous, Lose 2 Sizes in 4 Weeks by Theresa Tapp. OK, now I was interested!!
Anyway, it held true to its promise. I lost 2 sizes in 4 weeks and felt so much better. My posture was better which certainly was a plus. Years of nursing babies takes its toll on your carriage!
What I like about this workout is that it only takes 15 minutes, you can do it in the privacy of your home…and it works! 🙂
Listen and watch Charlotte Siems, a mother of 12 who went from a size 22 to a size 6! It’s quite encouraging!
You can get the book Fit and Fabulous in 15 Minutes
and/or the DVD. The DVD is very helpful! I have got to the point to where I have memorized all the moves and recorded the audio of the DVD onto my phone. It is all I need to do my T-Tapp workout!
T-Tapp Basic Workout Plus
Can you tell me if you can do the t-tapp exercises successfully while wearing a skirt? I’m hoping you can as I am much more likely to t-tapp if I don’t have to change my clothes every time! Thank you!
Hi Marie, It can be done. Sometimes my girls have done it in a skirt. It’s a little hard on some of the exercises but I think you could figure it out. 🙂
YOU TOTALLY CAN! YOU CAN EVEN DO IT IN YOUR UNDERWEAR!!
There is nothing disordered in doing exercises in your own home in comfortable workout gear. You don’t shower in a skirt. You don’t have intimacy with your husband fully dressed. These things are done in undress in privacy. So, too can you exercise in privacy in workout clothing without being immodest.
I do think Marie understands that. And I agree with you. I think she just didn’t want the bother of changing…
I am wondering what all Charlotte (in the video there) did each day? I shortly looked into this and there seems to be different workouts? Did she just do the basic 15 minute one and that’s it for those 18 months? And is that the same exact moves every single day for those 15 minutes? If I bought the DVD is that what it teaches—just that same 15 minute routine or does it change it up every day? Or do you have to do
I am not sure exactly what Charlotte does. I do know that they focus on the basic workout plus. Whether Charlotte does more than that I am not sure. I will tell you, when I was doing it I went down two sizes in four weeks, just like they said. And I just did the basic work out plus which is 15 minutes long.
Teresa Tapp passed away in 2018.
Let’s pray for the repose of her soul. I did her workouts for a little while and then I fell off the wagon so to speak — I felt that the fifteen minutes took up too much time until I really got face to face with the fact that I was getting a bit lazy and didn’t want to do them. But I felt better when I did the exercises. I am going to start again.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual life shine upon her. May she rest in peace.
There is an issue with Teresa Tapp’s will and the workout DVDs are now very difficult to obtain. I had only the fifteen minute one, and I wanted to purchase more. I was able to obtain them via a homeschool swap list, and I think there are some on eBay, but they are going to be tough to get. Hopefully the legal issues will eventually be resolved and we will be able to get them again. Meanwhile, I did find some of her workout videos on YouTube which may be useful for those who cannot get the DVDs. I like them for variety.
Thank you Elizabeth!
