Finer Femininity

Every month we get together and have a meeting called “Finer Femininity”. I know we all feel refreshed after these meetings because each day we encounter attitudes, situations and media that go against what Our Lady wants us to be as women and mothers. It is a struggle for all of us so we need support, good reading and wholesome attitudes.

Each week we begin our meetings by reading “The Purpose of Finer Femininity”:

The purpose of these meetings is to help all of us to understand more completely our roles as women – especially in the vocation of marriage and motherhood.

We, as women, have the awesome responsibility AND power to make or break our marriages and our relationships.

This is something that the young ladies who are not married need to learn NOW.

Let’s not wait to fix it after it is broken.

These principles work whether we are married, single or in the religious life.

It is all about self-sacrifice, submission, thankfulness, kindness, graciousness, etc.

The world around us teaches the opposite and it is so easy for us to slip into this mindset.

Let us use Our Lady as our model and learn the virtues of true womanhood.

    • Hi Brenda, I don’t mind if you use “The Purpose of Finer Femininity” for your meetings. I will write a post about how to do a meeting. I think it’s great that you are willing. 🙂
